There are myriads of high school graduates in the United States who may not have the financial capability to acquire college education. Fortunately, there exist educational grants that allow students to receive money from the government in order to sustain their schooling. One of these grants is the Pell grant. The Pell Grant is given to undergraduate students who need financial aid in order for them to accomplish a college degree. While people may see this grant as some sort of an educational loan, it is actually not. While loans require a repayment after a particular tenure, grants are absolutely given and not lent. Nevertheless, any applicant for Pell grant must be verified to be financially incapable as part of the many Pell grant requirements.

There are some requirements that have to be completed in order for one to qualify for Pell Grant. Other Pell Grant requirements are US citizenship, a social security number, and a secondary school diploma.
